Dr. Mohamed Taha Osman Abdelraheem is an assistant professor in Mining Engineering and a researcher in Hydrometallurgy at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Morocco. He is a mining engineer and hydrometallurgist specializing in mineral processing, gold extraction, and extractive metallurgy. He holds a Ph.D. in Mineral Processing (Hydrometallurgy) from Konya Technical University, Türkiye. Dr. Abdelraheem has practical industry experience as a gold process engineer in both CIC and CIL gold processing plants, complemented by extensive academic and research expertise. His research focuses on gold recovery, sulfide mineral leaching, hydrometallurgy, process optimization, and sustainable extraction technologies. He has published in internationally recognized journals and has been honored with the Outstanding Researcher Award in Mineral Processing for his contributions to the field.
