Nigeria’s Mining Sector Records 4.61% Growth in Q2 2025

Nigeria’s mining sector has experienced a 4.61% growth in the second quarter of 2025, signaling a positive trend in the country’s mineral industry. This growth is attributed to recent reforms and increased investor confidence. The 10th Nigeria Mining Week, themed “Nigerian Mining: From Progress to Global Relevance,” is scheduled to be held from October 13–15, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel. The event is organized by the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development, in collaboration with PwC, Vuka Group, and the Miners Association of Nigeria.
